Love poem

Look through adorable love poems collection.

Most people think that life without love is meaningless and no sense to exist without this feeling. Love exists in all kinds of organisms and humans are not an exception. This feeling is known in many forms and between different relationships, once felt in love individuals desire to experience love again and again. In childhood we get love and care from our parents and relatives and after creating own family we surround own kids with love. No wonder that people keep creating love poems, songs and novels.

Poetry is an imaginative awareness of experience expressed through meaning, sound, and rhythmic language choices so as to evoke an emotional response. Poetry has been known to employ meter and rhyme, but this is by no means necessary. Poetry is an ancient form that has gone through numerous and drastic reinvention over time. The very nature of poetry as an authentic and individual mode of expression makes it nearly impossible to define. This resource contains lots of love poems that were created by talented individuals.

When i see your hair blowing so majestic in the wind, Your smile just like a happy child. It feels like a thousand suns of emotions exploding in my stomach.

Since the night we met, I knew there was a spark. I found my true love, On that night of dark. I told you what it was, That feeling inside me. It felt as if my heart, Once hidden was now free. Then you told me how you felt, Was it less or was it more? Not from the bottom of the heart, It was from the core. You told me what, You had to say. Then you were going, On your way. I found out, On that night of dark. You were a sight, That left its mark. Not a scratch, Or a scar to see. For the mark you left, Was your love for me. - I wrote this a while time ago, please give me credit for that :) 14 year old male, Jacob Montgomery

So We will Go No More A-roving

So, we will go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart be still as loving
And the moon be still as bright.
For the sword outwears its sheath
And the soul wears out the breast
And a heart must pause to breathe
And love itself have rest.
Though the night was made for loving
And the day returns too soon,
Yet, we will go no more a-roving
By the light of the moon.

I wish I could remember the first day,
First hour, first moment of your meeting me;
If bright or dim the season it might be;
Summer or winter for aught I can say.
So, unrecorded did it slip away,
So blind was i to see and to forsee,
So dull to mark the budding of my tree
That would not blossom, yet, for many a May.
If only I could recollect it! Such
A day of days! I let it come and go
As traceless as a thaw of bygone snow.
It seemed to mean so little, meant so much!
If only now I could recall that touch,
First touch of hand in hand! - Did one but know!

When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head
Nor shady cypress tree.
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dew-drops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember
And if thou wilt, forget.
I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain.
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set
Haply I may remember
And haply may forget.

The Grave

The grave my little cottage is,
Where, keeping house for thee,
I make my parlor orderly,
And lay the marble tea,
For two divided, briefly,
A cycle, it may be,
Till everlasting life unite
In strong society.

I Sing

I sing to use the waiting
My bonnet but to tie,
And close the door unto my house
No more to do have I
Till his best step approaching,
We journey to the day,
And tell each other how we sung
To keep the Dark away.

The Heart Asks

by Emily Dickinson
The heart asks pleasure first
And then, excuse from pain;
And then those little anodynes
That deaden suffering,
And then to go to sleep
And then, if it should be,
The will of its Inquisitor
The liberty to die!
